DESCRIPTION:Join us for the inaugural Forward in Friendship Run\, Walk & Roll in Durham! \nParticipants of all abilities can choose their distance — 500 ft.\, 1 mile\, or a 5K (3.12 miles)— making this a fun and inclusive event for everyone. Every participant who registers and completes their distance will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal. This race is not officially timed. \nAll proceeds support L’Arche North Carolina’s Forward in Friendship campaign to purchase the Friendship Houses in Durham\, continuing their legacy of housing\, friendship\, and belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through L’Arche’s model of shared life\, care\, and community. \nSign up today for an early bird discount. Create a fundraising page or team and help raise more support for the Friendship Houses! \n*If you would like to assist a participant with their run/walk/roll\, you can sign up for free!
