DESCRIPTION:Miss Sunday Meetups? 😢 No fear! We’re starting them up again! 🎉 \nThe first meet up of this year will be in Durham\, at our very own L’Arche house! 🏡 \n\n\n\nPlease register in advance ✅. We will send the address (located in South Durham about a mile from the Lowe’s on Fayetteville Rd) to everyone by January 6th! \n\n\n\nParking: We kindly ask that those who are able to do so park a bit further down the street. This will help ensure that there is ample parking space closer to the house for those who may have difficulty walking longer distances. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated and will make the event more accessible for everyone. \n\nAccessibility: As previously noted\, this house is in the process of renovations that are not yet complete\, including an accessible bathroom and entrance to the kitchen. Guests using mobility aids (such as walkers or a wheelchair) will have very limited access during the event. We look forward to the future when everyone visiting the L’Arche house will be able to participate in our community space fully.\n\nSign up here!

DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join new friends and familiar faces at Craft Together 🎨! \nThis week\, we will doing a workshop with the one and only Debra Wuliger! ✨ Debra is a local artist with a passion for abstract art\, describing it on her website as “the open ended emotional resonance of interlocking shapes and color.” \nBut not only is she an expert at painting\, she is also is an expert at teaching painting! 👩‍🏫 \nDebra has years 🗓️ of experience working with other artists at schools and at her home studio\, where she runs her own art workshops and summer camps. \nThis particular workshop is called “Playing with Shapes and Color!” \nWhat to expect during this time of art and fellowship: \n1.  We first gather around tables and introduce ourselves. We then ask a get-to-know-you “This or That” question\, such as “Do you like Salty or Savory?” or “Do you prefer the mountains or the beach?”🤔 \n2. Next\, Debra will introduce the workshop\, explaining the purpose. ✅ \n3. We will paint for an hour. There are some guidelines\, but this is mostly a free-form exercise. 🖌️ \n4.
