DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled due to low engagement – stay tuned for future Move Together events! \n  \nJoin us on Tuesdays from 2:00 – 4:00 PM for our Move Together Scavenger Hunt!! \nWhat to expect from our time together: \n\nWe will gather as a group at the Edenton Street Bulla Center in Raleigh (301 W. Jones Street\, Raleigh NC 27603).\nWe will launch our time together with introductions and our weekly check-in\nWe will walk as a group to Nash Square Park. We will divide into teams and play a scavenger hunt together\, then recollect for a get-to-know-you activity. If we have more time\, we will conclude with another team building game!\nWe will walk back to the Bulla Center for snacks.\n\nTo prepare: L’Arche will provide mini water bottles at the beginning of our session\, but we encourage all to bring their own water bottle. The roundtrip walk from the Bulla center to the park is 1 mile. Friends are welcome and encouraged to suggest an inclusive game that they love to play outdoors! \nPlease sign up here by 11:59 PM on Tuesday\, 9/19 if you plan to attend. DESCRIPTION:EVENT POSTPONED!! \nFrom Bull City Summit: \nFriends\, \nDue to unforeseen circumstances\, the Inclusive Dance Party scheduled for Saturday\, September 23rd has been postponed. We are incredibly sorry to be letting you know the day before. We do hope to reschedule the Dance Party in the coming months and will let you know the details when we have them. \nAgain\, we were looking forward to hosting the event and apologize for needing to postpone. \n-The 2023 Bull City Summit Team \n  \n  \n  \n—- \nAbout the 2023 Inclusive Dance Party: \nBull City Summit is a week-long conference and event festival\, focusing on science\, technology and innovation during the day\, and music and arts at night! \nL’Arche North Carolina (co-sponsor) is a community of belonging for people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. L’Arche NC envisions a just society where diverse people with and without disabilities thrive. \nThis Inclusive Dance Party is designed to be a safe and fun night out at a popular Durham venue\, providing a club experience for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities\, as well as other disabilities\, to come together for a night of fellowship and fun! \nMotorco is an accessible venue so people with mobility challenges are encouraged to attend. Attendees with sensitivities to audio/visual effects are encouraged to bring aids like sound-deadening headphones and/or sunglasses to make their time at the Inclusive Dance Party more enjoyable. \nBull City Summit and Motorco carry all event liabilities for the Inclusive Dance Party\, and therefore L’Arche NC is not liable as a co-sponsor of the event. \n
