Tatum Tricarico, our Disability and Theology Intern ♿✝️, is leading us through a four-week Disability Advent series!

We will meet on a weekly basis to reflect and converse with chosen pieces of scripture, poetry, and teachings at the intersection of disability and Advent theology. Each session will include the opportunity to learn about an important Disability Justice leader.

Each meeting will be Hybrid: In-person at Duke Memorial UMC, & Zoom.

What to expect during this evening of prayer and fellowship:

1. We first take some time to connect with each other, and go over the day’s agenda. ✅

2. Next, we reflect on chosen pieces of scripture, poetry, and teaching. 📜

3. Thirdly, we converse on those pieces, with participants breaking into two groups – those on Zoom, “Zoomies,” and those in-person, “Roomies.” 💬

4. We report back on our thoughts, and discuss them all together.

5. We do a fifteen minute activity / embodied practice.🖌️
